Superfast Business Cornwall (SFBC) is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and delivered by Serco. The service is available for eligible SMEs based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, from June 2016 to Spring 2019.
Superfast Business Cornwall (SFBC) is a service that aims to help small to medium size eligible* enterprises (SMEs) across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly exploit digital technologies to develop and grow.
The service offers SMEs, start-ups and social enterprises a tailored programme of high quality information and advice which aims to help businesses develop a strategy for growth that utilises the latest in digital technology. This is accessed through a range of helpful guides, resources, workshops and 1 to 1 advice with specialist advisers.
There will also be the opportunity for some businesses to access support via the project’s expert panel made up of professional representatives from finance, law and specialist technology suppliers. It provides valuable independent advice on the utilisation of technology, helps with business due diligence and gives suggestions on how businesses can maximise the impact of their project.
The project has received up to £2,984,444 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The service is delivered by Serco, national market leaders in the provision of Superfast Broadband focused business support. The service will run to Spring 2019. Activity is closely aligned to the Superfast Cornwall rollout.
